Leo Plumer
A longtime classical liberal and economics aficionado, Leo is entering his third year as an undergraduate in McGill's Economics and Political Science Honours programs. Leo wishes to enrich the pool of knowledge surrounding free market economics, strong institutions and individual liberty, and the capacity of these tools to enhance human welfare. Interest in careers in academia or public policy has led him to involvement with the Canadian Political Science Students' Association as his university's Lead Delegate, while exploration into international relations has led to involvement with activities such as Model UN. Finally, a recognition of the need for activism has resulted in holding positions such as Campus Coordinator with Students for Liberty and Chief Executive of McGill's own Liberty @ McGill. Leo hopes his work for Mises Canada will contribute to better understanding on-campus and off of Austrian economics and personal liberty, while giving him excellent experience in research, writing and closer integration to the broader liberty movement.
